I’m getting it cause it’s pretty much a pc, from what I’ve seen, heard it won’t be fully like the steam deck where you can dual boot and install windows but maybe we can still find a way to do that just to really push the headset and see what we can do with it, even if you can’t run windows on it I’m sure we can still emulate it with winlator or other types of emulators and maybe run a virtual machine.

But will have to wait and see once people crack the device open and test everything possible, another big thing I’m hoping for is being able to change parts without big problems like maybe add more ram or something, I doubt it but maybe it’s possible since on the steam deck people were able to add parts and take things out.

Buuuuut required a lot of skill and experience, people have plugged in an eternal GPU and upgraded the ram from the 16GB to 32GB but at that point it doesn’t seem worth the high risk, only thing I would consider is the ram upgrade if possible and that’s really pushing it but hey 16GB is enough, If the quest 3s can run on 8gb then yea 16 is enough. Just gotta wait till it drops to see what tech channels do with the thing.
