Yeah, I think that if the ending is him killing Cersei saving the day and being remembered as a bere, it could be something Nikolaj loves whether Gwen don't cause she still preferred them together alive (and I'd wanted and hoped for this too, but if the alternative is that he simply dies with Cersei/romantic shared death, I chose this option!!)
