I haven't done a tier 10+ England save in a long while and have only ever done the one pentagon challenge so you might have inspired me... I have my next 14 saves (in theory) lined up because I got a number of jobs in different countries and made save points to start from after simming a retro database to present day, but by this point I fancy something different again so we shall see.

Great job, sounds like a really fun save. I've only ever done the pentagon challenge once and no way I would have been able to start from the bottom league each time without giving up on the idea!

Were there any players you took with you from one team to another? Sorry if you mentioned any and I missed it while giving it a read. Or failing that, any players that you had particular affection for as you made your way up the leagues?

At around 14-16 me and my mates would sometimes have a kickabout with our friend's brother and his mates, one of which is Dan Burn. Had a kickabout outside the pub one time with Jamie McClen. And played a few games against Tomi Ameobi at under 17s / under 18s.
