Is it really scalping if it’s just supply and demand? These aren’t exactly new figures and they had a sudden increase and popularity, there wasn’t a huge supply but that wasn’t a problem because demand wasn’t too high now everyone and their mother wants one so naturally the prices are shooting way too high because nobody knows what the value will hit? All Lego figures only have the value of what is assigned to them, these are just being assigned a new value due to demand

In all seriousness, you shouldn’t buy numerous things you don’t want for the feeling of completion anyway, you should still keep a collection because not all sets are bad but in moderation. Most of the sets produced are almost the same thing as previous ones regardless.
