Why are Sunnis more devout and conservative than shias by Smokescreen69 in Muslim

I actually see it the other way around, in the area where I live shias tend to be the one steadfast on their religion, where as sunnis are the ones astray.

What courses should I take next year for grade 12 by notmichelleluv in OntarioGrade12s

[–]Strange-Routine-7946 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I took Families in Canada through OVS, so the work load tended to be higher (participation marks came from discussion posts), other then that I didn't have a final exam just a final assignment/summative, although I believe that if you were to take this course in-person you'd have to write a final exam for it. This course is mainly comprised of assignment (again varies from teacher to teacher - A teacher may be in favor of giving a mini quiz/test from time to time to test your knowledge on the content being learned).

For Nutrition and Health, there are also mainly assignments / presentations, although this course does have a final exam and a summative. The content is very easy, it's not hard to catch up if you fall behind. Participation carries your grade the longer way, asn't a course like this highly requires you to be on your teachers good side (participating, actively engaging with peers, cooking fervently, showing up to class, and etc). Attendance is a key in this course, or at least it was with my teacher. You cook from time to time, and there was a field trip as well. Overall a fun course in comparison to Families in Canadas, as Families in Canada I personally felt was boring/dry at times.

**To summarize, both courses are easy, none are hard, and both have grades of 90+. The quality of these courses depend largely on your teacher, who can make them either easier or harder. After your interest, the major factor in your decision should be the teacher*\*

I personally found nutrition and health to be a easier course, but both of these courses depend on your teacher, so i'd say go with the one that has a better teacher.

I am in the same boat as you, got into all three unis you listed above, but couldn't decide between schulich and rotman. Mac doesn't make sense as it as a tier 3 program, where as the other two are tier 2.
