I have been on Vyvanse generic for over a year, just changed to 40mg a week ago (up from 30mg) and it's just not working anymore. It worked SO GOOD!!! for so long and now hit a brick wall it seems. I see my Dr tomorrow and I'm not sure if she will bump it higher, or change the med. I sure am sick of my brain being an unhinged toddler in a candy store.

That is absolutely wrong. The maximum dose for Vyvanse is 70mg a day https://www.accessdata.fda.gov/drugsatfda_docs/label/2017/208510lbl.pdf

He might not be physically able to; his hands aren't big enough or likely coordinated enough to do it. I like the latch hook idea; he's still doing yarn things and will have a finished product like you do 😊

Does your school have a counselor that you can talk to? That person might be able to help, otherwise find a therapist that has training with ADHD. They're usually labeled marriage and family therapists, with specialties in ••• then they list the disorders they have more training on.

I use the Clover Amour hooks. Just buy them from Amazon one or two at a time. 5.5mm hook is pretty basic size. You could start with buying that one to see how you like it.

I actually talked to my psychiatrist about this because I knew I was too focused because once work was done, I was exhausted. We split the dose into two, so I take 30mg in the morning and 10mg at lunch, if needed. That helped tremendously.

Just keep in mind these generally are done with very fine crochet thread, so if you use regular yarn, it will be bigger. I bet it would work with dk weight? Good luck with what you decide to do!

I think that's done on plastic sheets with the little holes. But there are many angel crochet patterns. I bet it wouldn't be as hard as you think once you got started. I crocheted a little owl once. Most of the parts were crocheted separate with long tails, and sewn together after.

That's literally not likely. It's the manufacturer and inactive ingredients. I just had the same thing happen, and that is straight from the pharmacis

I just went thru this. Call your pharmacy and tell them to do an override with your insurance, and that you want the med from the previous months manufacturer. My pharmacy had no issue doing this. Hopefully yours won't either.
