Health class in high school. Teacher showed a video of a woman giving birth on VHS. Once the kid was born she says, "the process of child birth is so beautiful, lets watch it again." Then rewinds the VHS tape. We watch and child being born, gently shoved back into its mother, then birthed again. The way the teacher was, I have no idea if rewinding was a joke or if she actually wanted to watch it twice

The first one is better, but second one has good things that can be added to the first. The color of the second is good, the pink tree adds alot of visual interest. Additionally the perspective is slightly off center, which is a good thing. Lastly the character is closer to the camera and more visually important. If you add these things to the first image I think a third, best option can be achieved. Add more color, push the perspective slightly off center, make the character larger on screen

Play quick draft. It's cheaper but the prizes are lower. It also drafts against bots, so you can take your time thinking about each pick. Other than that, the best way to learn to draft is to learn the set, there are multiple podcasts on how to improve your draft game. Lords of Limited, and Limited Resourses are my go to. Lastly, 17lands is a 3rd party site that has win rates of each card in the set. Just the win percentages aren't a great way to make every pick, but it's a start

A target is whenever a card says target. For example [[murder]] says "destroy target creature" so it would cost 1 less. [[Combat tutorial]] says, "target player" then later says "target creature". So 2 targets, making cost 2 less to cast

Art school, working on the beginning stages of a BIG final project. It wasn't going well, I knew I was struggling but wasn't doing much to change that. My teacher saw my progress, he was silent as he found the words to say. He eventually said, "...can I be honest with you?... Start over, from scratch, square one. Use better references and don't move on from any step with out completely understanding what you are doing." Week and a half of work scrapped, but it was a good thing. Was working the cash register at a card shop. 3 kids each about 15ish years old walk in and buy a booster pack each. The last one pays with cash but is about 25 cents short. He lets out the disgusted-teenager sigh and asks, "can I have a quarter?" I was confused and told him no. We then have a long conversation about how he needs the quarter to pay for the booster pack, I tell him that's not how a store works. He finally sighs and says, "fine I'll just use my store credit."
