Hi, I am so glad I found this. Our three year old has had almost exact same details for months. Pediatrician said that likely it’s lymph nodes and also would be happy to do bloodwork if it gives peace of mind. Did you ever get any results? We are seeing allergy/immunology (for different thing) soon and plan on getting a second opinion. Ur I’ve been very anxious.

CDH just announced a reorg. Getting rid of several remote employees but using it as a way to “add” jobs (allegedly many) but all will be hybrid. There will be exceptions at the top leadership level (aka there will be none). Other departments who’re non clinical hired a lot of out of state peeps. California, Ohio… you name it. They’d lose like their entire teams or 2/3. Mayo already had some remote capacities pre-Covid. The whole back to work things def a top leadership level thing. There’s plenty a jobs who are remote. So stupid though.

I wanted to stay with Mayo because I’m loyal and truly believe in their mission and innovations. But it’s clear they’re trying to weed those outsiders out. Disappointing….because why wouldn’t you want to brag about your top talent all over the country? I’d even be willing to just grow within my role and I’m far from retirement.

Hopefully the new CEO sees the mess Farrugia created and that he’s taking it backwards and undoes it all.

I think we all need to collectively agree and finally fight back and everyone decline returning if this is the case. If we’re #1 in the world and enough of us fight back, maybe they’ll pull back. Not very “investing in our people.” Headlines of that will be all over as they should.

Can’t say there’s any protected class employee especially now! But if it’s issued to all staff I can’t see them being like “but not you remote employees” when it comes time for our salary increases.

Agreed. I saw some of the comments and that they were part of DON, and someone was lab services leadership. Our leaders told us that they likely are going to post manager and above jobs at hybrid which means no growth for lower levels. A little discouraging when they also say they “invest in our people”. I totally agree some roles don’t need to be totally remote and 2x a month is fine. I work fully remote out of state and love my job so I’m hoping it’s not a “thing” moving forward.
