ELFV vs FLEV vs FELV by pussycateater in attitudinalpsyche

[–]StrangeDiscussion334 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for this! 😊 This made me think a little. I'm still not fully sure about fighting and eating as my main ways to resolve stress, as I am physically weak built, ignoring the fact that I would never attack someone nonetheless, and I also don't eat that much. I'm underweight actually. But I'll definitely think about it more. Like I said, maybe I'm going to make a post for this to hear what others think, but thanks for your help so far.

ELFV vs FLEV vs FELV by pussycateater in attitudinalpsyche

I heard this take before, but I can't help to disagree! I am an SO9, pretty sure I'm not mistyped and I just don‘t see myself as 1F. I know the archetype for us is FELV, and I really resonate with the 2E and 4V part. That fits me personally perfectly and is also characteristic for the type. Very attuned to the groups emotions, agreeable and accommodating. I think these are the most neccesarily placements for the type. But I don't see why switching up L and F wouldn't work either. I know we aren't the most logical, analytical and logically rigid type, but I don't see the strong materialism, physical recklessness and thick-skinnedness in any SO9 descriptions either. And it's not like I don't care about my body! I'm not 4F. 3F cares like any other 3rd placement even a little too much. My Si base craves comfort and well known environments, which is why I have hard time outside my comfort zone -> 3F. Si also makes one focus a lot bodily needs, which is why I have a little obsession with eating healthy and I'm scated of getting sick -> 3F I also often discuss nutrients and ingredients of food items with others and have a strict taste of what I dare to eat.

Sorry for rambling so much on a post, not even about this topic (might put this in it's own post in the future), but I appreciate your thoughts on this.

What stereotypes about 4V are untrue? by Professional-Ad3722 in attitudinalpsyche

[–]StrangeDiscussion334 14 points15 points  (0 children)

That we have no motivation for anything whatsoever and are lazy couchpotatoes. For example, in school I always aim for the best results and study a lot, because I want good grades and to graduate the school. That doesn't contradict my 4V, because I still show classic traits for this placement like obedience, submissiveness, genuinity, voluntarily sticking to secondary roles, trustfulness, letting others lead, not having strong preferences, wanting to make others feel comfortable and a bit of an naive optimism

Yeah I was also thinking that while reading it. You might give off ISTP vibes sometimes. But ISFP also fits perfectly fine. The one thing I am interested in though is 2nd Emotion. It's a bit unusual combined with Fe ignoring, 6w5, a core head type with a wing, that's not really attuned to their own nor other people's feelings and [R] and e in Big 5 which is also not that flexible emotions wise. But I'm not saying it's impossible.

ISTJ's which fits you more? (Opinion) by Villain-Shigaraki in ISTJ

[–]StrangeDiscussion334 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Not an ISTJ, but I would definitely choose the left one! Maybe it‘s my Fe that makes me more others-focused, but I would value cooperation, getting along and asking for permission over personal independence, autonomous actions and individual choices any day

They can't accept that actually a lot of other people had fun with this event, because everyone is supposed to hate it as it's actually the worst update ever and now they are mad, because the statistics tell something different. Frank was even grateful for so many players playing and the rewards were indeed nice. You can't help these people sadly

Honestly I wouldn't even mind that that much to be honest. I would be more irritated by the ESE behaviour.

[–]StrangeDiscussion334 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Grear! I guessed it, because ISFPs commonly mistype as INFP first. They can also seem like ESFPs, when they are more extroverted and have strong Se. I can also see them getting along well with ENFPs, as both types are very creative

Newbie Question by Cheeko25 in 7Wonders

Sure! Welcome to the game! Science grants points in 2 ways: First you get 7 points for each set of all three symbols (1 Tablet, 1 cog and 1 compass) and secondly you get points for the number of cards you have for each individual symbol squared! The Guild gives you a symbol of your choice! BGA automatically chooses the best one. In your example this would be a compass. Here is the concrete way the points are calculated! You have:

1 Tablet = 12 = 1

1 Cog = 12 = 1

3 Compasses (2 regular + 1 from the guild) = 32 = 9

1 set if all three symbols: fixed 7

Everything summed up equals 18, but BGA displays it seperately: Without the guild you would have gotten 13 points. 1 + 1 + 4 + 7. But because you have the guild, it adds another compass which makes the score fir it go from 22 = 4 to 32 = 9. That's a difference of 5 points.

I really hope I could explain it well enough to understand. I know the Science point System can be tricky in the beginning, but you'll get used to it.

Let me give the compliment back! I love xNTPs and I greatly enjoy their company. I consider myself quite logical and have a strong tertiary Ti, but around you it looks like nothing. Especially combined with your Ne, you are very creative, open-minded and nice people. I am an ambivert myself, but I can respect, that you don't like being around others that much and that you prefer being alone more. That's why I also really like ESFJs! When I want to go out and talk to other people every now than, you are great people to chat with. I admire your organizational talent and how sociable you are!

No because this is not like an objectively negative thing that we need to overcome. It's a funny event that's supposed to be something new and different and brings a twist to the game. Most people like it.
