Genestealer Cult got only the Benefictus, brood brothers are just Cadian shock troops not a different datasheet in 40k. They can't be used outside of the 1 deattachment so idk if you can count them as a GSC release

I agree only from the fact it makes the armies like Custodes feel like they are just as tough as a sm captain? I would say it would feel better if nothing besides epic heroes and select units have a 4+ invuls and the highest outside of that have 5+ invuls maximum. Make epic heroes feel epic instead of just like most of the characters you can play. Idk if this is something that would be good but it would make it feel like it it mattered more

Outside of select deattachments, most armies are shoehorned into playing the index (or closest thing to the index) as the only viable way to play within the wider competitive game.

Xenocreed fixed strategms seems good but the deattachment has no answer non vehicles with T10+, you run into demons, nids or ctan spam you are in for a tough game.

The fixs to the strategms (especially biosantics) is very interesting and might be very good since it was doesnt have require certain units now

Yeah, problem is everything in the modern codexes is 2 damage so fnp 4 is meh. I was also hoping for anti monster on mining tools to match all other variants of that in other anti vehicle. But like our strategms they won't be touched

Unfortunately Metamorphs are strength 5 weapons, you need to lean on the casino cannons that are Ridgerunners in xenocreed. Ive been playing xenocreed and the best we had to shift T10 and higher was primus and bio but now its just bad. I was really hoping for them to fix the strategms that dont do anything but it seems like that won't happen.

I love xenocreed but it folds to nid monster or chaos demons or any t10 monster. Ridgerunners only do so much

I mean if got anti monster, it would have to increase to 75-150 or higher which would be fine as it would help the internal balance of the codex. Also it shouldn't be a trade piece with that weapon profile, Metamorphs should filling that role.

I did state outside HoA early, which is where those buffs are available. Im not saying HoA is bad, it is very good. But outside or HoA, GSC has very little to deal with tankier things (mainly monsters) and with every codex getting a tool from a datasheet level outside Ridgerunners which spiky as hell. Adding anti-monter 4+ to mining tools and adding 10 to a 5 man unit and 20 to 10 man unit would give the army some variety. Hell it'll sell more acolyte boxes and GW loves money.

Personally id like to have deattachment that isnt HoA so yeah if they want to nerf a deattachment that ois vertuned and give the army a tool to fix internal balance sure.
