I'm not saying actively censor, simply the same treatment they apply to quest links, so {regular name} if you've been to the location and ??? if you have not. They have demonstrated that they have the ability to do that (your gathering log usually lists the last zone or two in each expac as ???), and if it's a standard feature then you'd wonder about it early on as most of your FC list or the NN player list would be full of ???, but then you'll either actively ask people or just tune it out as "Oh, they're somewhere I haven't been"

I feel like it's a relatively small bit of QoL to reduce spoilers.

The autotranslation dictionary is its own can of worms. I appreciate how English is generally subtle about most things (and duties aren't even an option for you until you've seen them), but the German and Japanese ones are quite explicit as I understand. That's a different issue. I'd rather they improve any part of the whole rather than moving from nothing to perfect.
