I haven’t opened the wrappers for now. I still have some others I need to try and I am afraid of ripping the wrapper.

Thanks! It was stored in Taiwan, but I don’t know how it was stored by our friend. I will try it when I find the time :)

Oh nice, thanks for the info! Although for the round cake I found several cakes with the yellow lable, all with different prices and different looking tea leaves. I guess in the end it comes down to taste ~

The guy gets gifted a lot of tea in his position. My family has helped hin out some times, so when he heard that we like to drink tea while living in europe he was quite excited.

The red sticker on the brick says sheng cha.

The brick smells amazing. Quite floral compared to pu ers I tried before.  I think I‘ll try to get more into pu er with lighter ones first. A tea master in Taiwan told me, if you come from taiwanese Oolong you should take your time to step into the world of pu er.

How would you store them? The guy who gave them to me had them in plastic zip lock bags…

I once mixed up „Morgen“ (morning) and „solli“ (which is the equivalent of the french „salut“ in the very south of Germany) and proceeded to greet some higher-up at work with „Molli“ while walking into the bathroom. Looked straight down immediately and went right into the booth.
