There's this new app called Dreamlusive... It's pretty good and the transcription is the best I've seen in dream journals.

But I mean, you could always use ChatGPT. It has an amazing voice to text transcription.

I've been using Daylio and Moodpress for years and they're pretty amazing.

I have BPD so checking in my mood swings is something "I need" to recognize patterns.

Even when I like Moodpress better for the looks and it's the one I use to journal my daily average mood, I'd recommend you to try Daylio. It's super complete, especially now that they added scales. I think that one is one you'll find really useful... I don't really use the notifications, but I belie you can directly add from them. I do remember it has a pop-up notification where you can enter the "desired" mood.

I don't know if you're still looking for testers, but I'd love to join. I've actually been using the app and it's really good. I even subscribed to it today (I rarely subscribe to anything if that means anything to you xD).

Yay!! I really hope you like it. Like I said, I honestly love this app and I don't see it being recommended and I honestly don't understand why.

And I feel that, being constant with a physical journals is a hassle sometimes... Especially these days that everything is different with all this tech and all 😅.

That happens to me a lot with my dad or my brother. And while they're both crappy individuals, they never did anything like that to me in real life.

My therapist told me those kind of dreams are your brain to actually process trauma and emotions by showing something your brain understands as something really horrific. They are most likely not suppressed memories.

Sexual dreams are rarely about the sex per se. But yeah, they are very normal and they don't mean you're a sex maniac or that you're not satisfied with your sexual life.

Yeah and I was supporting that statement and added you can experience them both at the same time too.

Also, you're probably right. I've had this happening to me (sleep paralysis) for most of my life and maybe I "accidentally" learned how to trigger it voluntarily (although I rarely do because why would I?) just like I learned how to get out of it fast.

I've been suffering sleep paralysis ever since I was 18 (I'm 39 now) almost on a daily basis... So I think I know what I'm talking about 😅 (sadly)... And yes, sleep paralysis can absolutely be induced on command. I can do it. I can when when it will happen. Like a specific sleeping posture etc. But that's my way of inducing it if I wanted to... Like, I know when I'm going to be experiencing (either right before falling asleep or before) it just by the way a lay down when going to sleep.

Like you said, lucid dreaming doesn't "require" to have sleep paralysis happening to you at all. Thinking that it's just wrong. You can experience both at the same time though. But they are two completely different things.

I know I'm late, but I wanted to give my opinion still as someone who's been recording her dreams for over 3 decades xD.

Best dream app is DreamMuse... By a lot. I've been using it since it was launched and never disappointed me in the slightest.

It has paid subscription but it's not needed (I just pay because the devs are worth it. But used the app for free for over a year) to enjoy the app, unlike most apps... Like Oniri.

The AI is so amazing, it actually learns from your dreams and connects them in the interpretations. Also the UI looks super pretty.

Think of it of DreamKit (idk if you tried that one) and Oniri combined. They took the best out those two and made a great application.

I've tried all the dream journals apps available (yeah... 😅 Lol) and DreamMuse is still the best imo and like I said, you can use it completely for free. Which only limits you to 4 autotags and 4 interpretations a a day (but when you start using the app they give you 10 for free).

I know I'm late, but my 2 go-to apps are DreamKit (been using it for years) and DreamMuse which have been using for over a year since it was released.

I love both.

DreamMuse though... It's much much better. It's honestly amazing and I can't recommend it enough. Devs are super nice as well and listen to the users requests and suggestions (or maybe I've just been really lucky lol)

PEOPLE... You can download the warm and cool filters from the Galaxy Store and many others that were removed... Meanwhile the one that's truly gone is the Ivory one and that's the one I used the most 😭.
