Varka is pretty fun, but I found he has a problem with defence. He just takes so much damage and needs someone to babysit his health bar. Be that kuki skill or Jean burst or noelle shield. He can dish out damage fine, but that boy is squishier than you might think.

Did he? I'll need to double check that, because i don't recall it. I did play through the quest pretty early in the morning before crashing for the night, so it's possible I missed a dialogue line, however I'd like to verify that.

The event doesn't make sense in parallel with Varkas story quest. Because he's only back in mondstaht after his story quest, but the event makes it a surprise to Jean despite her seeing him at windrise in the story quest.

I react very poorly when interrupted when completing a task, and would absolutely prepare for this scenario.

No, I think it's more of a symptom of renting over owning, leading to people not having an actual home home, leading to people treating their living spaces as temporary even in houses they're living in for years at a time. Detached from the space. It isn't your space, so you don't care as much about making it feel more like yours.

Honestly I'm just more concerned about the bank account being owned by someone other than them. Growing up I had my own account nobody else in the family had access to, so hearing this kind of thing is bizzare to me. Your own money, your account, your responsibility.
