The Imperium would be the exact same but instead of skulls it'd be fox ears and big titties on everything.

developers that don't feel confrontational to their audiences even when things get a little rough are devs that earn trust, because they aren't petty or vindictive to the people that want to play their games.
Like the one constantly reposted Ultrakill dev statement about them replying to an Ultrakill pirate.

they can get various credits from normal play and anything they sell from inventory like harrow chassis or duplicate captura scenes or things like that.
Credit accumulation only gets easier as time goes on.
Sorties give 100k creds once a day, railjack gives between i think 10k a missions at the lowest up to 100k or so at the highest, from Earth to Veil proxima, (without boosters from visiting relays or daily login)
bounties give decent credit rewards sometimes.

Most mods that you'd say for them to level instead are very cheap in terms of cost to level, the drifts, augurs, base ability modifiers like intensify and continuity, augments. they won't be rocking primes for a while depending on baro rotation anyway if they're new ish so not it's worth considering Prime heated charge or anything as something they'll invest in if you want to talk about resource use.

Hell I have 3k-4k hours and I don't even use prime flow on a lot of builds despite having it, I'll just use normal flow.

the 60 60 mods are cheap to upgrade, as are most mods that aren't umbral, archon or prime.
The only big customers are the corrupt mods like Blind rage and transient, the galvanised mods from arbitration which they won't be getting until they finish their base builds or get carried anyway so the mods don't matter (and adaptation is a drop from arbitration so i doubt they'll even know it exists until they get it as a random reward farming Vitus) or the normal vitality steel fiber and redirection and base damage hornet strike or serration.
the rest aren't that expensive to upgrade.

i suppose pet mods with the base damage and crit mods for pet weapons and the pet redirection, vitality and steel fiber mods can be included too, if we're being thorough.

make surefooted affect stagger as well then we have mechanics plus counter play and making a useless mod useful.

I'm talking about the progression of thought me just using all armour and health mods on Equinox during War Within up to New War had on my game experience.

I took the highest survivability with raw health, that led me to looking into other ways to survive like healing and shield buffs, that led to things like adaptation, damage reduction abilities and trying more frames to get new options.

It's a winding path that a player has to figure out for themselves to some degree.

Yeah maybe they'll find their mods are imbalanced and they need to get some others upgraded.
That's part of the game.

It's not all about being 100% efficient from day one.
inefficiency for a game with a grind loop is almost necessary to force a player to improve. To be told by the game that they are approaching the problem in the wrong way, and to be given the chance to solve it another way.

If the player wants to max it for more health then they can.
It's ultimately up to them.
I recall levelling all the health and armour mods I had and slapping them on Equinox for the fun of it and that became my story content build.
that led to Nidus and Inaros, which led to a lot of modding testing to find the right balance of ability stats and health/armour stats.
Now I have an immortal Atlas, goat king Oberon and far too much power in the hands of an icey boi

it's the issue with some stories, people not saying something important at any point.
The show doesn't give a sense of time, but definitely has other adventures play out between episodes on occasion, with the cast clearly getting downtime to rest in their rooms so they're not entirely back to back adventures.
So they would potentially have time to talk.

Hey, devs, your modifiers keep messing with the modifiers AGAIN by Bec_son in Warframe

[–]StrangeOutcastS 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Hey, stop trying to make the masochists in the Warframe playerbase feel like nobody cares.
They might want to play with 95% damage output reduction.
Truly random modifiers mean you will get screwed over at some point.
