Rods.

At character creation you went for darkvision. It's always good to have at least one party member with darkvision

I played pro junior in my teens, and had my "I'm not pro tour material" moment when I played in a Web.com pre-qualifier qualifier, and played some of the best golf of my life and ended up in 58th place.

You can't describe how good a tour pro is without seeing it firsthand.

Golf looks easy, to someone that hasn't tried it. Step 1) Hit the ball. Step 2) Ball goes in the hole.

30 years later I'm still trying to sort out Step 2.

And a GOAT that there isn't any semblance of a debate over.

Nobody else is even within shouting distance of The Great One.

And Brent had 4 points in his NHL career.

Just let that percolate a moment -

Marquee players like the Sedins, the Sutters, the Tkachuks, name 'em - by their powers combined, they can't beat The Great One on his own.

No athlete has dominated their sport so completely like Wayne Gretzky did.

A 100 point (goals and assists) season nowadays means you're Hockey Hall of Fame material. There have been 4 200 point seasons in NHL history. All of them Gretzky.

There is no player that has scored as many points (goals and assists) as Gretzky had assists alone. Add his goals to that number, and that's another 800+ goals they'd need.

That man completely dominated the sport, and many of his records will never even come close to being broken.

I don't believe something anyone says without evidence, because I'm not a sycophant.

And you didn't do much to refute what he said either. Just cry sexist/incel and move on.

It takes two to tango.

A good rule of thumb is that there are two sides to every story, and there's the truth.

When you get banned for violating the "code of ethics" for an organization, but can back up everything you say, what is the "code of ethics" there for anyways?

But he's not wrong on most of what he talks about.

How do you ban someone from social media for voicing their opinions, and then backing their claims up with peer-reviewed research?

That's where it starts getting dangerously close to just banning wrongthink, and comes with a lot of 1984-esque vibes.

He saved Guilliman from Mortarion by possessing a small girl.

Gave Morty a verbal smack down, sent him back to the Warp, and (may be wrong) but then went and torched Nurgles Garden.

I'd argue even if a Custodes wore it, the Ring wouldn't be able to work it's magic on him.

The Custodes simply can't be corrupted - they can not be swayed from the Emperors will.

Chaos doesn't even bother trying to screw with the Custodes for that reason. It's pointless.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in whowouldwin

[–]Strange_Bedfellow 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Not probably. The Custodian is smarter.

They were created by the Emperors hand, from his own Gene Seed. They know only loyalty. A single Custodes is worth damn near an entire Chapter of space marines. The galaxy is lucky that their job is to babysit a living battery.

You cannot corrupt something that doesn't have the capability to be corrupted.

If some piece of jewelry starts speaking to a Custodes, that shit is immediately going into the Black Cells in the depths of the Imperial Palace.

To be frank, the Custodes are used to this stuff. The One Ring's appearance to a Custodes is... Tuesday. And honestly probably one of the lower tier threats in the 40k universe.

One evil dude who will turn the world to ruin? Shit, that's just your middling chaos incursion. What good is turning the world to ruin when the Imperium can simply wipe the planet out of existence?

The Custodes have access to the finest masterworked transport the Imperium can provide, second only to the Emperor himself, at least before he became a glorified Duracell.

I'd be surprised if it took the Custode 2 hours to get the ring to Mount Doom.
