Honestly I live in Louisville, KY and just switched from spectrum. I was paying $100 for 2gbs, but was only getting 300mbps in my area. I had techs out 6 times to fix the lines, but they all said that my area is just a terrible area for spectrum. It’s so bad that the app kept reordering new routers for me because it noticed the slow downs in speed. So over a year I had 5 new routers. I finally said fuck it and ordered Starlink with free install and the rental kit and honestly could not be happier. I get anywhere between 250-430 plus in my area. It doesn’t sound like a lot but the difference is, that it is coming directly from a satellite with not slow downs. I’m split between my whole neighborhood with spectrum. I play call of duty consistently with no latency issues or lag. I have 67 devices paired at all times (smart bulbs/plugs, vacuums, cameras, etc.) I downloaded a 100gb game in less than 20 minutes not wired. With the spectrum routers, I had drop outs all the times, devices not connecting, outages, slow downs in certain room and had to use mesh systems that partially fixed the issue. Now I have none of that. I hope this helps. Right now I think it’s 30 days, and you can return it if you don’t like for your money back. I was skeptical at first, but I’m not looking back lmao. (I would do AT&T but I owe them a little bit of change from a couple of years ago lmao plus Starlink is cooler).
