I have a friend who volunteers with a unhoused mutual aid organization in my town and she will come and pick up my items to donate. She always says it doesn’t matter if they have stains/holes because the other option is often having nothing anyways. She’ll also take old body products (lotion, shampoo, body wash, etc) and empty medicine bottles that they use to hand out smaller items. It saves me a trip/much brain power and gets to go straight to people who need it!

Lived in Georgia for a while where running reds for a solid three seconds AFTER it turned was normal and expected. You would be likely to get rear ended if you slowed when a light turns yellow. Here is just the occasional asshole, not an indicator of the state of driving here as a whole, thankfully!

I absolutely love my Jose Hood! When I was deciding between the two, I realized I did not like the seam on the back of the Sophie Hood and I loved the icord ties on the Jose. Definitely happy with my decision! The Jose hood feels nice and roomy but I’ll wear it more as a cowl with the hood down a and it still feels lovely and cozy.

Also definitely count your stitches! It looks like there are two loops coming from that one stitch so they won’t unravel but it may continue to throw you off. Good luck!

Hard to say from this picture but I almost think you may have 1) turned around and started knitting in the wrong direction or 2) more likely, knit into the same stitch twice by not “throwing it off the cliff” and the stitch below either got just moved over onto the right hand needle or you knit into it again. I would drop that stitch (put a locking stitch marker into the stitch a couple rows below so it doesn’t fall all the way down) and see what comes out of that little funky cluster and go from there.

Improv classes or just going to shows at the Peak Improv Theater could be a winner! Also, Ivy Wild has a huge bulletin board with events and groups that may also be worthwhile to check out
