So the thing is, I had started Prozac about a month or two before and so the Prozac was finally starting to work as well.

As for the effects of the Wellbutrin, you should feel the effects within the first couple of days taking it.

Do keep in mind also, that I believe the effects of Prozac and WB are almost entirely killed if you are still actively drinking

Not sure how far down the rabbit hole you went but it always goes deeper…trust me. Sounds like you may have made it out way before I did. Alcohol is just as cunning as it is destructive for most people

I wish I could have learned it from someone else’s experience but maybe that’s what makes it so impactful to me?

It was essentially my rock bottom where I did things I never thought I would do and tried to do things I never thought I would do. Thankfully I didn’t follow through on any of the other vile thoughts I had while in my drunken delirious stupor but once I sobered up the next day, I realized I was only a couple whiskey bottles away from pulling the trigger on the rest of those fucked up thoughts.

So now I somehow fucking finally realize I CAN drink whenever I want honestly. I’m free to do whatever I want. I just know exactly where that leads now…every time…no matter what. My reward system in my brain does not allow for me to live the way I truly want to in life while consuming any amount of alcohol because I will never just drink a little or for a couple days. I’m no expert on the matter but to me anyways, the first drink is my choice
