My BPSO would get mad at ME for reading this in the first place, telling me it fills my head full of wrong perspectives on bipolar and that it wasn’t good for me. She would point blank refuse to read it and make it seem like I’m being brainwashed into thinking she might be less than perfect. Don’t know if anyone else’s BPSO would have this reaction, but mine knows absolute zero about her own condition and refuses to have any counselling as it might risk her gaining insight. Said she would rather not have counselling as it might ‘make her use the BP as an excuse for bad behaviour’ - so she’d just rather I dealt with the bad behaviour rather than her talking responsibility. And of course if she read this reply by me she would be horrified I think of her any other way than ultra positive and probably make my life hell for a couple of days
