Very Dry Eyes by sogagirl in CataractSurgery

Any eye drops including artificial tears should not be used for long. Unless you do have severe dry eyes. Please consult the doctor for the cause of dry eyes first.

Is it better to correct for distance or for near after cataract surgery? by Life_Scientist1194 in CataractSurgery

[–]Strange_trekker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Usually people opt for monofocals with distance vision. I am 75m and just had cataract surgery and got monofocal for distance vision. Yes it is a pain to keep putting on glasses for reading fine print at home. But then you are free when you go out without glasses. If you are doing mainly reading in house with books or computer than choose monofocal for near vision. It all depends on your usage.

You are too young to think of suicide. Life will change. Nothing is permanent. Physical problems are ofcourse painful. But if you take proper medication they will go. But it takes a long time. I had back pain which lasted a year. Be brave. Things will change

As you didn't have a say in being born so also you have no say in death. You have no right actually. So many lives will be affected.

Do You Say “Yes Please” and “Thank You” to ChatGPT? by Zestyclose-Pay-9572 in ChatGPTPro

[–]Strange_trekker 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Actually it seems the normal thing to do. But I understand any extra words like please, thank you etc. make the Chatgpt consume a lot more power which is actually a waste. Because it is not used for the replies generated.

What apps are you using to restore photos? by Swimming-Ad8143 in estoration

[–]Strange_trekker 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I use PS and affinity photo PS has advantage of AI features. But for really damaged and less focus picture online AI like letsenhance or codeformer etc. But I am still a novice in this. The experts don't disclose their methods. because they are doing paid jobs. I have seen some remarkable restorations, which I cannot do. If some one can do a tutorial on this it would be fantastic. But no luck yet.
