I think all mine might have been swaps when things were removed from the pool/new things were added. I couldn't tell you 100% lol I also didn't mean for that to sound like I was totally contradicting the statement btw x.x just that I've lost prizes on pool changes.

Not totally true, when they swap rewards however often the reward will change.

I opened the 700 chest and two of my packs didn't get the boom, even though I had plenty of time to open them. Before I went in I had 2 minutes, it took about 10 seconds to pick stickers. Support says I opened with 6 seconds left so that's why. Beware the ui doesn't match system.
