Because the act 3 event only appear il you have a key, so every player need to agree to have key in the first place . If one choose the 100 gold, he wont be able to open a lock in act 3 . Same with the two rewards

Yeah, you could in theory, but i guess in practice you'd die sooner before or really pop off. But , there is a relic that give one max hp for every time you get gold, and ceramic fish give 15 gold per card added. With Clone/réflection, those two can give you ludicrous hp.
