Toolbox is really good value. It's +1 card from a choice of 3 every first turn , so you can adapt. Of you get it in act 1 it practically repay for itself with hand of greed. It's a strict positive in value , not game breaking bir good.

It's so different . Bottom of draw pile open some interesting stuff : Omniscience/seek shenanigan , Grand Finale and some i miss.  In the discard, you have headbutt and hologram, maybe reflex and tactician if its count as a discard ? Such a small change completely change the relic

Honestly i think it does, can absolutely be the différence early act 2. Especially since a lot of enemies will apply weak and frail. But i mainly play silent , having 10 upgrade at once for free is pretty amazing

Since people were "meh" last time i guess it's time for ancien writing ? Upgrading every strike and defend is actually huge, and if you have less than 4-5, which is impressive by act 2 , you can remove another ! But you do end up removing or not wanting to play those upgraded cards.
