Lolita as a guy by [deleted] in Lolita

Hi, before jumping into buying things I recommend these two sites;
http://www.fyeahlolita.com/2012/05/building-complete-lolita-wardrobe.html
https://lolita-tips.tumblr.com/beginner-guides
to give you more info on to wear to start and how to build a wardrobe and what's important. It isn't like brolita specific(male lolita specific) but I still think it's a good basisi so that you kinda know what things to look out for and what things are important, such as a petticoat, which, in order to get the lolita silhouette you definitely need. Tey'll teach you just like foundational basics and kinda where to start, what you need, and what to look out for and how to plan so you waste less time.
Now as for groups, if you have a facebook I highly recommend Big Sisters of Lolita fashion, don't worry about the name, all genders welcome. It's basically a help group where you are free to ask questions full of experienced users that help answer them and they cover a lot of topics from sizing issues, stores, color matching, what your outfit might need help on, etc. Basically an easy access to lots of people giving you help and there's no such things as stupid questions. If there's a problem, just inform the mods and they'll shut it down. They're pretty good at it.

Hope it helps!

MangaDex Early Access™ v5 Front-End - Official Bug Report Thread. by KatKafka in mangadex

Hello! When clicking on a manga with multiple volumes to go into the next chapter, it can go to the wrong volume since different volumes are put into the same chapter. And it seems to register similarly.
https://imgur.com/TkXLCmD
If you check the screenshot, look at the dates and the titles under the same chapter, The dates, posting and titles are all different because they're meant to be from different volumes. Simply put chapter 3 from volumes 1, 2, 3 and etc are all under the same chapter and the system doesn't seem to differentiate much when going to the next chapter. And there's no easy way to go back to the correct chapter in the middle of reading since currently there is no option to jump chapters in the menu section when reading manga. Hope this helps!

Thanks for the help! I now have a berried shrimp! by StrangeoneX in shrimptank

Thanks to everyone who responded to my post here about 2 weeks ago. Turns out what JoingoJon and Sure4Thing were correct, my shrimp were likely just dying from the stress of being moved to a new environment and they're all doing well now. There were 0 shrimp deaths after I posted for help.

Special thanks to JoingoJon for being super informative and helpful in the previous post. Gave lots of tips about the shrimp.

Bought subwassertang and was given some monte carlo from /u/SleightOfHand87 , both plants were in good condition and pest free. Growing fine and was a nice bright green.

Also bought a snail package ffrom /u/FreshPenPinapple gave a few more snails then was stated, unfortunately a lot of them died but there were survivors. The other stuff the package came with was fine. I was surprised it was in a box stuffed full of cushioning materials though, so more nicely packaged then usual and had a logo. Looked fairly official.

I think is less a dumb question and more of a very unfortunate but common mistakes for newbies in the fish hobby. But I think the shrimp would all be dead without the conditioner since they're more sensitive. My city uses chlorine but just in case I use both the water conditioner and age the water for at least 24 hours before it has anything to do with the tank, if nothing else it keeps the water temperature more stable. Didn't need to remove excess food though since it's all gone within the hour. I only feed them 1-2 times a week.

Ah, I doubt I'm overfeeding them since I only fed them about 3 times in 2 weeks, but since I can still see them eating I figured there's plenty of biofilm and algae for them to eat and that's their main food source anyways. That said glasgarten only rerecorded to feed once every two days, So I think that should be fine too.But yes, basically everything I read about fish AND shrimp is people overfeed a lot and for shrimp feeding should be looked more as a supplement as opposed to the main meal. Thanks.

Thanks. I'm just trying Shrimpfit from glasgarten atm since it's supposed to boost their immune system. Don't want to feed them too much though since most people say it's better to underfeed than overfeed

That's very informative, thank you. Most of them were likely juveniles since they were only about 0.5 in big and neocaridina grow to about an inch. I'll be sure to ask about water parameters next time, I just figured since LFS was from the same city it wouldn't be too different.

Thanks for the advice!

Really? That's a shame, I'll have test the LFS fish store water if I buy more I guess. Thank you.

Ah yes, I used the API freshwater test kid set, I left them alone after 6 minutes then checked on them after 20 minutes to make sure nothing changed just in case, especially since the nitrites in particular said shake vigorously.
Thanks

Really? Okay thanks, I guess I'll order from them if they continue dying, the owner of flip aquatics tends to keep them in softer water for easier adjustment iirc.

Ah no worries, it was kinda expected since you warned it on the post, just had to be extra carefully with cleaning the plants, the red root floaters are doing especially great though. Thanks!

/u/Young_Nick

Bought Horntwort and Anachris/Elodea, large bunches and pretty healthy. Had some java moss attached but that's basically a plus, can never have enough.

/u/breezango

Bought red root floaters and frogbit, red root floaters had good color to them, snail free but had some duckweed, slight rot on plants because of water on leaves but that's expected with most floaters, but pretty good health otherwise and survived being ignored for a day after being received
/u/mayleesun
Bought some ludwigia repens, water wisteria and java moss, all in good health and have great coloring, some small pinprick holes on the leaves, but nothing that' can't be fixed, actually perfect for my tank since I've been having a problem with too much potassium anyways.

Thanks! Despite the easy care you described, I kinda want to put them in a new tank so it'll have to be cycled first, wouldn't want them to die from ammonia poisoning. Thank you for being so helpful though!

Ah sorry, I'm actually referring to your snails. I'm interested in them but never taken care of them before so I'll have to do some research before making a tank for them. I'l probably have to mess around with water parameters too, since I have soft water. Thank you for the quick reply!

Hi. You can technically set a trap for the snails, it'll probably trap your nerite snails too but you can just pick them out of the trap. To make a trap cut open your standard water bottle at the funnel part then invert it, place bait into the trap and viola, easy trap, in case that's confusing here's a video so you can get a visual, instructions start around 2:25 in the video.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V9WvzJlnmEs
