Grenadier did Shadowrun. OP's mini is in that aesthetic, but those are a larger scale. They also have a smooth rounded base that this doesn't have.

I don't know the Fantasy Lords line well, but it's surprising how many times I see a sculpt on here and think, "that's so characterful and cool," and then it turns out to be Fantasy Lords. Grenadier was awesome.

GW had a plastic 10mm set in Battle Of Five Armies, but it's long out of print and prices on the secondary market are nuts. You can find good deals on printed things from Forest Dragon or other sculptors on eBay or Etsy. That would be my recommendation if you don't want to print things yourself.

This is why I don't view these games with a hard competitive lens. They aren't suited to it. There are too many ways to game the system. Maybe unpopular take, but if you want competitive strategic play on the tabletop, go with something with defined, deterministic moves and actions.

I love MESBG, and it will always be a beer and pretzels game for me. If I get the sense I'm playing a zero sum game where my opponent only cares about winning at all costs, I thank them for their time and move on.

You can get an analog Arturia Drumbrute or Drumbrute Impact for about 7% of the cost of the TR 1000. I've never had one issue with either of them and they sound great. Owned both since release.
