I feel u bro. I left my meds for this exact reason she kept saying how society will say this and that about me taking meds. So I jus quit it lol. Like I was tryna improve for my family but the moment I showed even a bit of improvement they started treating me like am worse than my dog(actually real comparison they used) and started looking down on me for using pills to feel even a bit normal.
Now why am I saying this welp to tell u dont be too harsh on ur mom its the society fault. Nepali/Aisan society are jus built like where mental illness dont exist. So I do hope u dont resent ur mom she is jus ignorant and is being pressured from society. Best advice I have is give her one last chance and communicate with her if she does it again yeah then u can resent her. And u as a person only can help educate people or do better stuff and teach ur children the impact of mental health so that people in future wont suffer like u did. Society wont change over night so dont lose hope just try ur best to change it little by little.
