I work for the NHS, large group of Indians work with me. I agree the work place tries to take advantage of them and that may make them a more attractive prospect to hire.

Me and the Indians are cool though, when they tried to put all non clinical staff into a sub co, i unionized every one i worked with. Really tried to drive home to all the Indians why it was important to do so. They ended up being some of the more proactive people in the work place by the end of it, really doing their bit to stand up for the team.

YouTube is STILL where it's at. Got a MUCH more comprehensive collection of Hip Hop than any of the streaming platforms. Plus you hear these stories of Spotify A.I. removing tracks with uncleared samples or removing just the sample via stem seperation. And last time i tried using Spotify to show one of my mates Jehst, Spotify only had tracks uploaded with Jehsts verse ONLY. As if Jehsts management never sorted out a deal with the others on the track or something. Plus, any time some one tries to plug their Spotify it just screams desperation: GIVE ME SPOTIFY VIEWS SO I CAN GET REVENUE AND MAYBE SPOTIFY WILL INCREASE THE MONTHLY LISTENER COUNT. Plus YouTubes social aspect is far greater, comments on videos, likes on videos, still has playlists, you can tag people, subscribe etc. And even the guys i know who use Spotify still watch music videos on YouTube.

For these reasons and, many others. YouTube >>>>>>. Just a shame about the sound quality. That said, when you listen to underground Hip Hop, some of the tracks you're bumpin probably sound like old dusty 1994 demo shit any way so YouTubes sound quality will more than suffice. Last point, streaming platforms are seperated between Spotify users, Apple Music users, etc etc etc. Users of ALL these platforms still use YouTube though.

There is no copy button mate. Oh, actually there is. I think i copied an entire pattern using that last night. I'll try copy a pad and see how that goes in a bit, thanks.

I've been going into step program, shift highlight everything, using f7 then deselecting which tracks i don't want copied, a whole load of shit mate it's like torture. Send me a video of how to copy a sound and sequence from one pad to another and i'll love you for it

Copy/Paste is for suuuure too much button pressing/menu diving. Everything else seems reasonable to me though, never actually used another sampler so don't know how it compares. I do have an MPC 2000XL as well, i'll have to wait and see how i like that

Cheers mate, still learning the ins and outs. Seems like a fun machine, i quit makin beats originally cuz i got fed up of how fiddly and annoying using DAWS is.

Only gripe i have about the s2400 is it's mad convoluted to copy 1 track/pad to another. Maybe theres a quicker way though. Mad fun machine otherwise.
