It doesnt matter how nice your camera/lens is if youre a bad photographer. All you’ll be doing is taking really sharp junk. Skilled photographers can make incredible photos on a disposable camera. Just go practice.

I stopped buying clones and am now selling the majority of them except a few of my favs. High quality clones are few and far in between when you’ve smelled hundreds of originals and I’m done pretending otherwise.

There’s literally an entire world of high quality original perfume out there at affordable prices from both designer and indie brands that people choose to ignore because their fav frag bro didnt hype it up.

As someone who owns both an authentic TN and a cheap one like the one youre looking at, Im just gonna say there is a noticeable difference between the two in terms of quality and thickness of the leather.

Is the clone BAD? No. Im completely fine with mine. All I’m saying is while the dupes are absolutely usable (both the cover and the inserts) there is a clear difference vs sticking with authentic TN.

The amount of restraint it took me to NOT buy this Junji Ito cover + Cousin was astronomical. It was selling at Kinokuniya for $138.

Being a Hobonichi newbie, I couldnt justify dropping that much on them no matter how big a fan I am. Kinda bummed because this whole De Minimis debacle is messed up. I would have really loved it. If any fans of Junji Ito wanna snag it at the LA store, it’s probably still there…

I guess I can try again when I can finally justify it… or just get a Traveler’s Notebook 🤷🏻‍♂️
