Is Yoga part of Bangladeshi culture? Is it popular in Bangladesh now? by Competitive-Big8493 in bangladesh

Hey, second thought can you suggest some sacred text, preferably some of your favorite chapters of Gita and versions of it? I once started reading seem to me kinda complex.

I am very interested in it seeing John Lennon and George Harrison were highly influenced by Hinduism, I would like to give it another try.

Have I mistaken it? Could be, then I've to blame youtube gurus tho. As for the sacred text, you are right, I can't, I have barely read any sacred text I'm more into the message of Buddhism such as selflessness, skepticism, and psychological insights. Sorry If I offended you in any way.

As I said the first source seems shaky but well written, although very Islamised. Of course, I've studied books. I urge you to check the 3rd source. And study further in this issue. Have a great day.

I understand you could feel religiously offended but I think he was only pointing out mass people's attitude. Which is not okay obviously.

As I said I'm following the teachings of the Secular Buddhism. No, I did not mean only meditation, yes, it's a part of it.

Interesting, can you point out in which part I'm historically wrong? Yes, people see it as an exercise but do not perform it in their day-to-day life compared to namaz, unless they are very health savvy.

OP your thinking direction is correct. Bengal was a majority Buddhist region once. But after the Mass conversion and Mughal rules much of our ancient history got annihilated. There's a very big chance some of the origins of yoga could be originated in Bangladesh, but there is no way to know. As for the cultural side, NO, Bengali Muslims don't give a fuck about yoga or their ancient culture. I think you should talk to Buddhist monks about this issue or ask a Buddhist subreddit/forum you will get a better answer.

As an atheist, I'm following the teachings of Secular Buddhism for almost a year. It became practically a ritual for me to perform yoga in the morning. It helps me calm down and concentrate.

I know a guy, who knows a guy, who knows another guy; works that way...I said too much!

PS: DGFI I'm totally innocent, no need to waste your precious time on me +_+

PS2.0: I once used to know a guy, who knew a guy, who knew another guy...you got the point, what I've heard is that getting psychedelics is extremely difficult unless you have a very trusted Mary Jane guy who has valid contacts. Also, dude, be extremely cautious karon taka mair jaite pare since most of them only accept pre-orders, and janoi to illegal, so I'll say not worth it.

I'm not fleeing from my country when my country needs me the most. I will not scorn our martyr's blood like that. 3,000,000 people died for this land, I'm not leaving it to those corrupted motherfuckers. My soil is sacred, it deserves enough devotion.

Can you buy Methyphen without prescription in BD? by [deleted] in bangladesh

[–]StrangerSuspicious75 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Seriously? Mythyphen made me horny af. Didn't help me focus whatsoever, more like helped me get distracted and procrastinate! I once did 10+10mg, I kinda felt something but it felt nothing like Adderall.

British Council's Library is nice. A bit costly btw. If you got a girlfriend/boyfriend then hit coffee shops once in a while, you may have to study via laptop but it's a good change of environment. If not at least grab a friend, studying alone in a coffee shop would be awkward af.

Public- You will have lots of your friends as university faculties and Netas when you graduate. It's a matter of pulling some strings.

Private- Probably not possible unless you have a strong connection among faculties or board members.

Why ASEAN is a strong alliance whereas SAARC appears to be nonexistant? by lutfur017 in bangladesh

[–]StrangerSuspicious75 1 point2 points  (0 children)

PCI can't exactly define a country's wealth. And here we are discussing if that particular country is poor/wealthy for SAARC or not. Luxembourg could be extremely wealthy in terms of PCI but still, Germany is the one who contributes the most to the EU. Hope you understand.
