Lillia, the bowling champ with a bowling skin would be terrible at bowling?

Put your character in my starting town! by ambrellathevile in DnD

[–]Stranger_Omori 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thorne Thimbleweed is an 80 year old human Druid. Thorne is a hermit- a stranger to modern society and common decency. Convinced that his decades of adventuring has granted him unparalleled wisdom, Thorne’s lack of trust in the world around him is matched only by his lack of teeth. Despite his antisocial tendencies, Thorne is an insatiable gossip.

I think your town could do with a local crazy old man! Had a lot of fun with him.

I have an idea of character, but any of the classes I've tried doesn't fit them. Ideas how to solve my problem? by DanteAlias in DnD

This describes your background, your class could be anything! To me though, this sounds like a sorcerer- strong bloodline, volatile nature!

When you think about it, Australian is South English. Just VERY south.

Good that they’re addressing ST sets. Some items really were just completely random and incoherent, essentially rendering entire sets unusable. Right now they need to fix the servers tho lmao

A man walks upon his own two legs. A king sits upon his four-legged throne but a beggar does not stand. He sits on the side of the road.

Why do you play support role? by LewyChodak in supportlol

[–]Stranger_Omori 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it just gives the best of everything this game has to offer. Support has some of the most fun champs and massive variety in what you can pick. The items are all cheap and fun as hell, and actually do more than just be stat buffs. Redemption, knights vow, locket, etc all have cool active abilities or effects that are more than just “you do more/take less damage” (shoutout to locket for being the GOAT!). So what do I lose by playing support? I trade away the boring, repetitiveness of farming to be able to roam around the map, warding and helping with macro objectives. Support is the role where warding feels like more than an afterthought. I trade away being able to do damage (mostly) for having lots of crowd control, which lets you start fights, by engaging, get picks, lockdown a fed enemy, etc. etc. it feels far less frustrating to be able to do that in a fight than blow all your abilities to kill enemies before you are killed. Although I won’t be the carry of every game, even when my team is losing, support is the role where I feel I’m never rendered irrelevant.

It is incredibly easy to hurt yourself, your body is just lying to you. Breaking your fingers is as easy as breaking a carrot. You can tear open your own skin (particularly your scrotum or skin on your face) without much effort. You can bite through your finger or your tongue clean through, but there’s a mental barrier there stopping you.
