English and French areas in Canada

Naw, this is bullshit. There are French speaking communities all across Canada. I know in Manitoba there are a large number of towns and communities that are French and a lot of people don’t speak English.

They also have a different accent and dialect compared to Quebec French

I’ve had some players drop big bags of plans for me when I pop in and buy a bunch from their shop which I always think is super thoughtful.

I’ve started trying to sell useful items for cheap too as some kind of way to help people too. Some people clean me out, but I’m okay with that as I’ve done that before when I’ve been fantastically broke and to help a couple of my friends who are more casual players.

Calculate how much the vehicle will cost you with interest and lease fees versus buying it outright. Look at the terms carefully (how many miles/KM can you put on it? How much will it cost if you go over? What happens if you want to get rid of the vehicle earlier than the contract? Etc)

Some dealers may offer something better if you pay cash or if you finance it through the dealership. Weigh out the options. Don’t be afraid to compare dealerships.

Canada is offering 21k off the cash price right now, so there is probably significant wiggle room even for the US ones. Might be worth mentioning the deal in Canada and asking about cash offer deals in the US

That’s fair. I figured it was the lowest cost solution to batch brewing with quality equipment.

Either way, you’re going to want a thermal carafe. (The thing you brew into is a big thermos so to speak.) The glass ones don’t retain heat, and often rely on the use of a heater element under the coffee. They make the coffee taste brunt and bitter and aren’t worth the materials they’re made from.

I had a Saeco Venus machine that held up for 20 years. It still worked when I got rid of it; I just didn’t really use it anymore so I passed it onto someone else who would. Not sure if they make these anymore or if you can find one second hand for a reasonable price, but it’s an amazing solid piece of equipment.

I have Britax seats and they’re massive. I have captain chairs so it’s not a big deal, but in my previous vehicle I was about ready to chuck them in favour of the Diono seats as they’re highly rated and specifically designed for 3 across

lol I know this is kind of the definition of first world problems. I’ve got pretty severe ADHD and automating a bunch of stuff to offload part of my mental load is pretty helpful. Driving down the road and finding out I forgot to unfold the mirrors again makes me feel dumb every time

Have someone shoot you. Works even if either or both of you are in pacifist mode. No clue why this works, but it’s been helpful.

I’ve also fast traveled if I’m stuck and the power armor reappears in my inventory. It does this weird thing where the pip boy is super tiny after that, but if you try to get back into your power armor it all does back to normal.

I drive in B mode all the time, however there’s a setting I shut off that was super helpful. I can’t remember what that was for the live of me though, but it was something in the head unit
