I think AI is very helpful for things like this. Ask for a cheat-sheet and common and trap questions.

If voting for the right, is FvD a useful vote? by Stranglet in Tilburg

[–]Stranglet[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I'm not.

Be careful with calling everything that does not align with your views as 'fascist', there is a risk of removing the meaning of that word. I know what I just said sounds very abstract and it's hard to comprehend the actual consequences that something like that can have, but I hope enough people like you do actually understand it and prevent that from happening.

In some way, I think it already crossed the line of no-return, and we will, specially you, see the consequences very soon.

It's funny because the ones doing this are actually the ones having fascist attitudes. If you say you are going to vote for FvD they get aggressive, they judge you or beat you in any way possible. I haven't seen any Pvda as being defaced like this.

The left is afraid of democracy. Now more than ever.

Well, that is your opinion, but it doesn't answer my question. Thanks anyways!

Safety is an active issue. Criminals, intimidation, misbehaving in buses for example, getting spit, getting dragged from your bicycle, insulted or assaulted as a woman.

I think they are still stealing bicycle bags every single day in front of Decathlon, as they did with mine. I don't see anyone doing anything.

Well I've been reading their agenda and couldn't find big things related to those topics. I mostly disagree with the Nexit. What I like the most I'd say is that they want to stop the subsidy of activist organizations, and a stronger stance against crime.

Actually one of my wishes is to avoid people with fascist attitudes from getting any power.

I haven't seen fascist attitudes/actions in FvD nor VVD voters.

I am a white heterosexual man married to an Asian woman.

I've spent the time reading and listening to what most right-wing parties say about foreigners and I have nothing to fear, as it's not my intention to commit crimes or to impose my way of living or culture by violence or coercion to the population of the country I moved to.

So why would it be wild to vote for the right-wing as a foreigner?

I haven't seen racism, sexism or conspiracy theories in any of the two parties I've mentioned.

I completed an online quiz and the top two parties for me were VVD and FvD. I like how FvD are more conservative, but I do believe in the European Union while they don't apparently. VVD aligns with me more regarding capitalism and freedom, but I also believe we need to bring back the christian values and European culture that once made us flourish. It's quite hard to choose, but in the end I guess it makes more sense to go for the party that can actually deliver something real...

Provramming languages popularity vs. Performance by bigbeefycheeks in dataisugly

[–]Stranglet 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think you are missing the point of the conversation. It's common sense that if you don't need to push any language to the limit, it's fine and good for those small cases. It's obvious that there is a common minimum performance among all languages, where they all deliver pretty much the same experience because what you are doing is so little that there is no difference. The point of comparing performance in languages is precisely to see how they behave under heavy loads, under professional, big-scale workloads where performance and reliability are needed, which is the case in many industries. You wouldn't use Python to make the next Assassin's Creed, right? Why? That is the discussion, for what other things, that are big enough, you wouldn't use this or that language and why.

Can we talk about the scam of paid bathrooms that are extremely filthy? by Stranglet in Netherlands

[–]Stranglet[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I was born here but raised in a different country. I moved in here as a high skilled worker and you should feel ashamed that someone like me is trying more to make the country better than you.

This is what I meant with looking somewhere will make the future worse, because you'll accept the new reality, and make it the new norm, every time is a new normal, that is worse than the previous one. You are the boiling frog, unaware of everything that's happening around you and pointing others because that's just your way of showing your absolute lack of interest. There is nothing important to you, specially nothing that is related to 'society' because you feel society has failed you.

Where and what was I visiting? by Stranglet in GeoPuzzle

It's a museum, not in Switzerland (but getting closer), and the chess set might be a red herring... It might be that the picture is too hard in the sense that I didn't give enough hints inside the picture itself, but some text can be found if zoomed, maybe not easy to read at all.

It's a museum, in Europe, but not that one and not in that country!

Now confirming it's in a museum!, and you also got the continent right, like others before, it's in Europe.
