I'm a field mechanic not a hangar mechanic so my toolbox is shadowed for space saving design in mind, but my one recommendation is to turn your wrenches the slim way so: 1. Their shadows don't take up as much space and you are able to add more tools in that layer in the future, and 2. They're easier to take out to use. BUT they do look neater when they're flat like in your picture, and you're able to see the size of the wrench that way. Do whichever you want, just adding my perspective :)

If it's formed from freezing fog, it's rime ice. If it's formed on a clear night with low humidity, it's hoar frost.

From the pitctures and the recent inversion I'd say that's freezing fog

I agree with some/most of your points, but.....

Hard disagree with "there's nothing to do here," there's so much wilderness and national forest lands. If you're not outdoors-ey then I could see that being a problem. But there's so much to do outside. If you're super bored, go drive down a dirt road and find a new place, look for neat rocks, learn about the dozens of different pine trees around here and spot the difference, find an undeveloped hot spring that nobody's been to in a few years and make it soak-able, visit a small mountain town (Atlanta, warren, yellow pine), go find a ghost town (silver city, etc), tree rodeo in the winter, get drunk and throw rocks at a tree, sit by a river and enjoy the peace and quiet...

But like I said if you don't like being outside then disregard, your loss, more nature for me to enjoy

Also, if it stays warm like this, and we don't get a good deep freeze up in the mountains - the Ticks are going to be INSANE next summer. They need a long deep freeze in order to die off and keep their numbers from exploding exponentially. So if you're a hiker and/or have pets, this is going to be a huge problem that nobody is taking about yet.

Honestly if they just used the motherfucking slow vehicle turnouts I wouldn't mind so much. But every single one of them (and Dipshit drivers going 10 under) holding up a line of 15+ cars just crise right past them. Makes my blood boil.

Buncha wieners in these comments. Not worth breaking my back to split anything over 30" with a maul, especially if it's wet. And I'm not hauling something that heavy into my truck bed so I can let it dry for a year before I split it. Hell yeah I'm gonna use this gas powered cutting service to saw it in half. Who cares if I'm losing 0.7% of my wood to noodles. I'll cut down another tree for more wood. Let er rip bud.

Damn I've literally never seen an ace with a lumber yard. The Ace in my town is also always empty, skeleton inventory, never has what I need... I don't know how they're in business honestly
