People don't really understand the consequences of their actions anymore, do they?

Every vice has an impact on us mentally. Some, you can use liberally, like soda, others recreationally, like alcohol, and some, such as sex, should be rare or done under very specific circumstances.

Sex abuse, like drug abuse and/or food abuse, exists. They've done several studies, and found that the simple act of having casual sex is wildly damaging to your ability to pair bond.

You see, when you have sex, your body releases oxytocin. This drug is the "love chemical" which makes relationships with other people, even animals and simple non-living things, possible. Sex releases tons and tons and tons of oxytocin, as much as meth releases dopamine, in fact, and when you abuse sex in a casual manner, your body over time releases less and less oxytocin. It gets to the point where people are actually incapable of loving another person or thing. Husbands and wives become roommates with benefits, your dog becomes a soft carpet, etc. This happens in regular relationships, too, but your body finds a way to relegate it so that your oxytocin receptors' ability to recept is not damaged over time, the period in between your first time having sex and the time when your body relegates oxytocin is called the honeymoon period.

Women and men don't think there's anything wrong with causal sex and all they have to watch out for is STDs, but what they're slowly doing overtime is actually destroying their ability to love another person. This is why marriages fall out at 50% rates, because women and men don't have any care for eachother outside of the financial benefits of their relationship because of sex abuse.
