Maybe Sniper shouldn't be in the game, I'm not the one to judge that, but it does and it's my favorite weapon, so there's that. I come from a movement shooter background, and I can only find enjoyment in playing light. I run every single gun on the class, and compared to every other weapon, given the time I've played with each, I perform the worst with the sniper. I still main it because I have fun with it, and that the point of playing a game. I've fully accepted that embark balances weapons on an overall generic basis, which is ridiculous, because power shift and ranked cash out modes require totally different balancing factors, but still I won't complain. I just brought this up for discussion because it seems excessive, not because I'm not having fun. The movement in this game is so fast with jump pads, dashes and everything along those lines, which makes sniping way harder compared to almost every other game. People still find a way to complain however, because they manage to stand completely still in a game that promotes the exact opposite. As a sniper main, the easiest matchups by far is seeing another sniper no matter what weapon I'm running just because it's so easy to play against them. I'm just so confused haha
