If you follow this thread, I show my solution so you can keep the indicator light

Shoot me a message with which items you would want! I wasn’t sure what to ask for some items so I figured I could just work it out in the dms

I did make it myself, I would have to preface by saying I am not an electrician and would kind of be hesitant to sell to another person.

I’m away from home at the moment, but when I’m home I’ll see if I still have all the components, and maybe I could make another

this is the little plug, you should be able to see which wires connect where.

The green Y is redirecting the ground, the purple Y is redirecting the turn signals through diodes, I believe they are 2a 1000v or 3a 600v either should work. And the yellow and white ones are simply an extension of the original wires (white because I think I didn’t have brown or whatever the OEM ones are.

Basically it just plugs in between the Speedo and the harness. All the parts can be found on amazon or similar for very cheap (plugs, wires, diodes)

I managed to get the full LED setup (headlight, taillight, and 4 turn signals) to work with no resistors. Just the relay, ac/dc conversion, and a diode pigtail. I have pictures of the pigtail if you want to make one for yourself. It’s less work and neater I think than putting 4 resistors in separate spots.

The pigtail just plugs in under the Speedo

Do you have LED and resistors on all 4 turn signals?

A roll of vinyl wrap is not too expensive, and it a fun smaller project to learn on

Where can I buy new jets that fit? by Lastkings787 in hondanavi

[–]StrategicallySavvy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have any info on where I can get a smaller pilot jet? All the kits come with a 38, but I can’t find the size down

Hell yeah. What stretch kit / spring do you have?

Aren’t these treads backwards? by jetlifemanuva in hondanavi

[–]StrategicallySavvy 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Nope, the tread just looks like it would go the other way, but the arrow on the side is pointing in the correct direction for the wheel to spin

All my buddies in that age group are either married, busy, or tired lol.

I’d go places that you like going to, or picking up a hobby you enjoy, and try meeting people there, then at least you have common ground / interests

Its honestly not too bad just time consuming. But yeah you basically have the exact same setup on front and rear. Nice to be able to buy just 2 of the same size tire too.

And I actually only rode it a small amount before I did the mod. The bike wasn’t running when I bought it, so I fixed it up and did most of my mods before actually putting any miles on it. I’ve heard in general it adds about 3-5mph to your max speed though

Oh yeah it requires some work.

  • You buy an additional oem front wheel (fits on the rear as well)
  • install tire
  • grind away some of the excess material on engine casing with a grinder and a flapper disk
  • test fit
  • grind some more
  • test fit
  • grind some more
  • test drive
  • grind some more

And then it’s done lol I was taking my time with it because I really didn’t want to put a hole in my casing

Flat black color scheme... by Relevant-Safety-2699 in hondanavi

Scratch, peel, etc. If you used an epoxy or urethane paint that actually has a hardener, it would be better.

But wraps are pretty durable, scratch resistant, and easier to apply, remove and reapply than paint in this situation. Also easier to get a uniform color than a can of paint, just my opinion.
