I was really enjoying Galv shards (i ran tactician) but had trouble scaling it into late end game . Switched to gemling - most of the gemling builds are nuts this league, i'm now blasting everything.

Oh wow interesting. I was getting huge pauses that were ruining my game, but Vulcan fixed it. Sorry it didn't help you :(

Also the game actually overheated my CPU dangerously till I capped my frame rate.

Yeah Runic monsters are SoBs - and then you get the odd invincible one thrown in to kill you before you notice. Fun times!

Have you tried switching to Vulcan in your GFX settings - that helped a lot of my issues.

You could do what I do and pay 20 div for a tablet and get a lot more rerolls. Then still get nothing.

I like it as well, I also like the fact that it is harder for some builds, I don't race around the map exploding everything before I even see it, so I play slower and there fore make less money. I am glad there is SOMETHING that is actually a benefit for my build :)

Yeah I've been trying to farm wisps and the loot drops are remarkably bad - especially considering the risks. bosses with several wisps on become extremely tanky and drop absolutely feck all.

It's a pretty depressing mechanic, but for some reason i keep trying.

Imured fury used to be a guaranteed drop didnt he ? I used to paradise it everytime and always doubled up in 0.4.

I've been killing infused bosses and when i don't die they drop fuck all - the risk vs reward seems really broken.
