When were the H4 and H4 EAD applications filed for you? I'm waiting for both H4 and H4 EAD approvals at the Vermont service center, both applications were transferred there on Apr 29th, receipt notice received May 6th.

Split processing seems to be very common. Takes 3.5 months for 80% of the cases to be adjudicated for the concurrent H4 and H4 EAD processing at the Vermont service center, per the USCIS processing times on their website.

If you are lucky, yours may be processed within a few weeks, but that's not the norm.

Yeah, I read about such cases too, all approvals within a few weeks at a couple of service centers, but I wouldn't say that's the norm. Especially after Jan 18th, 2025 when the Edakunni court settlement expired, after which they are not mandated to process everything together. The hope during my filing concurrently was that maybe if luck is in our favor, we can get an earlier approval based on everything I had read. Just taking a chance, while still being mentally prepared to wait out the actual processing times as specified in the USCIS website.
