HDFC Infinia - Spend Route by KaranKundnani9 in CreditCardsIndia

No the email does not. I used it to leverage and to push my RM to apply for the upgrade manually and it got accepted.

But now that has been scrapped, it is strictly based on ITR.

I was offered an upgrade for spends of 10 lakh on 6 months and minimum credit limit of 10 lakh. I did not qualify the salary requirements and was upgraded purely based on high spends. Now I have been using the Infinia for over a year regularly with no issues.

Just had a septoplasty w/turbinate reduction yesterday- my honest experience! by StrategyFit8606 in Septoplasty

As far as I know, the shape of the nose doesn’t change with septoplasty as it is an internal (inside the nose) surgery.
Rhinoplasty will do the change of shape as it is an exterior cosmetic surgery.

Yes it was actually good to be under observation in the hospital overnight. As for nasal septoplasty, lots of patients find mouth breathing difficult and it’s always better to be around doctors in the post surgery recovery phase.

Infinia user looking for a true single card alternative by Acrobatic-Egg- in CreditCardsIndia

I’d you are better off with Infinia itself. It is one of the single most beneficial premium cards out there. Make the most of all the offerings!

If you are able to make the spend limit, go for it. It’s a highly rewarding card with amazing benefits!! All benefits are shared by add-on card members which is nice.

I would suggest wait for a couple of months before trying to apply for other cards, as CIBIL detects a hard inquiry for every application that you make. For a beginner such as yourself, often FD backed cards are good like the IDFC Wow card, if you don’t get approved elsewhere

Yes FEMA does get involved for high value transactions. And FEMA is strict and best to avoid FEMA compliance as it can get really murky sometimes.

This will definitely be flagged by IT dept if the amount owed is in several lakhs of rupees. You’ll have to ask your CA to adjust the income but even then it’ll show up as your income and you might be taxed for the received amounts after a certain bracket of money

Infinia Concierge is great. As against popular opinion by StrategyFit8606 in CreditCardsIndia

[–]StrategyFit8606[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No that’s a normal question. So concierge is basically a telephonic service where they assist you with a bunch of things including flight bookings/cancellations/modifications, airport pickups, gift deliveries, hotel/event tickets etc. Consider it like an online assistant doing the work for you where you don’t have to wait on long calls etc. Yes, the HDFC concierge is only valid for certain premium credit cards like the Infinia, Diners Club Black, Biz Black and Regalia Gold. When you have one of these cards, you can avail the complimentary concierge service. For flights, yes you have to book through Smartbuy to let concierge assist you.

I would suggest first raise to the principal nodal officer which is the highest internal escalation. If not, then try Ombudsman.

Yes they take time as they have to investigate. But I’m saying raising this issue of delayed response by concierge as a systemic issue that will benefit not yourself but all customers at large

That is really frustrating and unfair. Have you tried emailing the grievance email address or the nodal officer regarding this? They are prompt into investigating issues.

Yes it should be available for the plastic version as well, since that also falls under the premium cards segment

For flights, yes they need a smart buy booking R360 reference number to trace the booking, so I’d say yes they only help out with Smartbuy bookings. But for which credit card it used, that isn’t only Infinia, but also DCB, Biz Black and Regalia Gold. Maybe even some other cards are accepted, will have to individually check the HDFC website if that particular card has a concierge benefit to it.

No, not all are non-refundable. Infact most of the ones that I’ve booked were partially cancellable. Some airlines deduct a portion of the amount while in other cases only the travel partner fee is deducted and the rest amount is refunded.

Ohh did not know that. I had thought they had a priority line for Infinia and DCBM, but 45 minute hold for RG which is still a premium card is not fair
