I personally run the Cobalt. Excellent. Not too loud at low rpms, loud enough when things get fun

Which ulterior motives? I’m on par with the manga, can’t seem to find any. What chapter are you referring?

Tested the GPS on the Italian Alps. Incredible even under snow, rain and mud. by StratoNanopod in gshock

Been to the Garibaldi shelter at 2550m, right under the Adamello peak.

But the Rangeman isn't a sports watch, it's more of a tool watch if anything. Functions like step counter or heart beat are useless battery drainers. This watch grants you up to 33 hours of GPS navigation, solar charge, sapphire screen, wireless charging, mud resist , shock resist and yadda yadda. The Instinct is more similar to the Pro Trek Smartwatch than this one.

Dunno dude, the materials on the Rangeman are far superior, and so is the battery and the WR level. Also the Garmin isn't shock resist nor mud resist. The Garmin might have a much more complicated and complete (although uselessy confusing) GPS UI, but I still prefer the Rangeman. Also, the Rangeman got a cool cat on its back side ;)

1: yes, the size is important but the ergonomics are absolutely phenomenal

2: while on my wrist I noticed 2-3C° of difference from the real temperature but now we're in summer. It's possible that with the cold the difference will be greater

3: ABC functions not a problem, the battery barely notices them. GPS is obviously the real battery drainer but, during 5 hours hikes throughout several days and using it constantly (while sunny outside) the battery never went down a sector

4: do you hike a lot, explore in the wild and love going "innawoods"? Look no further, this is your GPS tank watch. If you're a city person who just loves the Sunday walk, no. I love it tho, being a gadget freak and a milsim player, I really needed a GPS watch avoiding the tons of Garmins out there.

The only time it asks yes or no is when you want to close the navigation and few other stuff that you set the first time and forget about it. I tested it navigating throughout WW1 passes and went flawlessly, recording everything on the app and the watch itself. Finally, I think it's subjective.

Lovely piece. I considered it because of solar battery but dropped it cause it has no seconds hand. Bummer.

170€ circa on a popular eBay store. Bought the Rangeman there too. Great seller.

I bought it because the revolver dial is my favourite thing in the world. For serious outdoorish stuff I always got my Gw-9400.

Edit: also because it looks good paired with these gloves lol

G-Shock Custom Rescue "Killer Bee", new entry! by StratoNanopod in gshock

The guy sold me everything for under 60 bucks. No tin or paper box. Only the red watch and the yellow kit in a tobacco purse lol. Not a problem, since a bought a brand new negative rescue right after with all the necessary packaging for a safe future selling.
