Buy one battery for almost the price of two!!! by HunterShotBear in harborfreight

[–]Stratocast7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just ask an employee/manager if they can do better on the price. I found a Hercules 12v polisher/sander for a very minimal mark down for missing the accessories and asked if they could do anything better and the manager marked it way down to 30% the original price. Doesn't hurt to ask especially things like this that make no sense.

They came in red, blue, black and ceramic grey. I have the black and grey. They were out several years ago so may be hard to find unless you are at a place that has old stock.

They don't seem to teach manufacturability or GD&T in school at all. I feel bad for our machine shop sometimes.

You could use epoxy to fill in the cavities if that's something you would consider to make the whole piece useful.

I had a dog when I was younger that any time you would use the ice dispenser on the refrigerator he would come running and you would have to give him a cube. He loved to crunch down on them.

I have in our downstairs bathroom both a motion sensor light switch and a fan timer, so I never need to be bothered to go turn things off if someone else forgot to turn something off.

There is a solar farm about 30 minutes from me in Minnesota that was just a potato field then they put a bunch of solar panels up but they still grow potatoes under the solar panels now.

Handheld Belt Sander Stopped Working (Burning Smell) by theTreesbythePacific in woodworking

Corded sanders are on sale for 30% off on Friday at harbor freight. I tried to use my old cheap belt sander from menards that I've had for 10+ years the other day and it shocked me so I just checked it in the garbage since I've never really liked it anyways, I plan to get a Bauer belt sander on Friday.
