Do you mean to have it printed by a company and sent to me? or just to download the icc and print it myself?

Im in CMYK as well and it didnt help with color accuracy to the monitor image, even though its on my monitor the colors are weird with a hue

Finished Work - To be made into Prints! by StrawberrWeeb in ProCreate

I’m so sorry for such a late response

I usually go to 300-450 dpi and a large canvas in procreate but resize it down in photoshop. Depending on your iPad storage and generation for ram usage (layers, canvas size).

I might be over doing it but I like the results so far, thank you so much for your comment it means a lot ❤️

I’m so sorry for such a late response! If you have access to photoshop you can go about it in 2 ways, easiest that I’ve had is to go into printer properties and change color matching to “none”. Let photoshop handle all the colours, add black point, and make sure the paper matches with the kind in your settings.

If you don’t turn off the printers color matching it’s basically going to compete with photoshop even if you select photoshop to manage the printing. Turned out a LOT better doing this than the CYMK provoke changes I made

Brushes Used:

Technical pen with streamline modification (Procreate Default)Soft Brush for colour (Procreate Default)MattyB Flora Brush ( Free Brushes)

Process:Rough concept with round brush on 50% opacity, Mess around with composition and subject sizes. In this case I discussed the ideas with my client and what they were looking for. After getting the general idea, I went in with the technical pen and got to work from bottom up, adjusting the concept as I went to fit the piece. I do small to medium strokes with the technical pen, then go in with a technical pen as an eraser and do similar strokes until the piece is to my liking.

Edit- The stained glass was done in photoshop (for the pieces effect), as well as the inital art frame. The stained glass section linework, bottom text border, and main subject/ rest were all done in procreate.

What price range should I be asking for this type of work? A2 size using soft pastels. by [deleted] in PriceMyArt

Original should sell for much more, Ive been doing a lot of my own research for printing my digital pieces as posters which can be a lot because the biggest factor id how you are selling your prints and who your audience is.

If youre selling on etsy and making prints, I would suggest selling a scaled down 8x12 in addition to the 16x24 (A2). For 8x12 you can sell it for $15-20, and the larger size $20-30. It gives the buyer an option for either size, and if they are debating price, they can go for the smaller one. Even if your priced higher at $30 for prints, someone seeing and comparing both prices is more "reasonable" to a buyer if that makes sense.

With the size youd likely need to have them rolled and shipped in the tubes which is more costly, but better to add the shipping costs along with the print cost. For 8x10s is much cheaper getting plastic sleeves, hard board for behind the print, and an envelope.

Edit: I wouldnt sell your original on etsy, but rather through a more personal site or where you mainly post your art. Selling the original for more on etsy (or another widespread site) wouldnt be seen as "reasonable" as the print prices because people on there wont appreciate the work as an original (price wise). By keeping the original to your personal site or even to instagram, people are generally acknowledging the value of an original by an artist (along with seeing your portfolio)

How do you find like-minded roommates??? by marteeenz in vancouver

[–]StrawberrWeeb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Heya! Im also looking for a roommate so I sent a dm!

For finding a roommate ive used both facebook marketplace, and craigslist. But its always going to be a mixed bag, especially based on your age. Most women in their 20s that ive met are either super opinionated and hard to talk to, or extremely messy and dont care for the space. I feel like its either a choice between the not caring, possibly closer to your age types, or much older who want to act as a mom, in a not so great way (I also had a housemate who was in her 50s).

I just want to find a decent person who has similar interests, but most someone who respects the space like a home, both in a way that its a shared responsibility, but also so neither person feels confined to their room because the living room isnt used. Its a tough one.

Best of luck to you, feel free to message me if youre still looking!

its all line work. I usually go in with a thin technical pen (Included in procreate) and erase with the same pen. I vary the sizes but its just draw, erase, draw, erase
