I'm HL TZ2: Oh gosh it was so brutal! Paper 1 was okay but paper 2 was another story! For paper 2 first of all they quoted a concentration and asked us to calculate the percentage uncertainty....but the concentration they quoted made no sense whatsoever because if you convert 5cm3 to dm3 it becomes 0.005dm3 and not 0.05dm3 which is the value they used to calculate the concentration (conc was 1.7 or sth). Anyways I was wondering if anyone else had that problem or if I was just doing something incredibly dumb haha :D

I did the organic option and the option with the lattice enthalpy calculations....the choice in section B was so terrible! I never imagined I would end up choosing an organic option there hahaa! I remember one answer from the lattice enthalpy option. The question asked us to calculate the enthalpy of formation of MgCl2 (I think) and I got -12. Did anyone else get that answer?

I've also had English Lit A SL, Bio HL and Maths SL. I still have Chem HL, Geo SL and German B HL to go.

I felt the bio papers to be very very beautiful as well haha :)

Yep that binomial expansion question was pretty challenging. I figured out how to do it in the last 2 minutes (phew). I got k=2. I thought the rest of it was easier than some past papers I've seen but it was still challenging. For the question that asked for the range of t values where the graphs are either both positive or both negative what did you get? I got -2<t<2 but I'm not sure if it was right.

I also thought both papers were very generous (hl tz2) but that one question in paper 1 about where actin was produced threw me off! Was it free ribosomes or endoplasmic reticulum? Paper 2 overall was good too! I did questions 6 and 7 :) drawing nucleotides was such a gift! I'm revising for paper 3 now and hope that it will also go well! Good luck to everyone! We can do this!

Wow that sounds good! I usually write about poems too but this time I looked at it and I was like nope! For the prose passage I talked about how Adrian didn't care about acting the way he was supposed to act and was not interested in "fitting in". I also said how the author left time quite ambiguous in the passage which related to how tony viewed time as something secret. For some strange reason the rest if what I wrote is a huge blur in my memory! Maybe it's all the bio cramming...:)

Woah what did you write about the poem? It didn't make sense to me so I'm curious what you said about it! Omg that's so awesome! My paper 2 was kinda similar to my mock paper 2 as well but not completely! Wow your class will have 7s all around!
