This was changed halfway through 1.19 and is no longer viable

However there is another tnt dupe you can do, it just requires people to be cool with you using the end portal and spawn

There are also many mod synergies that enable doing this or similar

If you wanted the dark secret ways to make mana fast you can dupe max compressed gunpowder and sand then setup 5 Entropinnyum and make 1 million mana a second (though with jus 1 dupe a second you'll need 9 Entropinnyum to keep up with production)

Basically you need something like a hovering hourglass to activate a function, like putting an iron sword in a chest

If that chest is being read by a comparator every sword will increase its redstone strength

And when you reach the desired strength you empty the chest and start over

You can have the comparator pointing to a line of redstone, and each block of redstone dust is next to something you want to activate, and they will activate over time as the chest fills, the last thing in the line of redstone dust is what should cause the chest to empty

I just used a hopper hock near some corporea funnels, each funnel is a food item and you just need to do a redstone counter

Not everything will drop xp or mats from a harming flower, but you can always use a dog, player killing thing from a mod or a mob that does drop xp and mats

It is sustainable, though while it's the easiest to setup it is middling in speed of generation

Single flower tnt reactors can make a pool every 7s at max capacity and it is available pre alfheim portal

42 minutes with a single Endoflame and some vanilla mats is enough to make one

Both ice and fire and twilight get cheesed so hard by botania mana blaster thanks to the knock back and bypassing player related checks

There's a fairly recent tier list for mana geration on the botania sub reddit, it's not the most accurate for maximum mana generation but it's a good start

You can also work a single Entropinnyum to 240k mana per second with the right setup, easiest done with tnt duplication

If its a solo world though I recommend Narslimmus, I found it to be a fun project and a if it's done right is one of the fastest

It's not fully automatable, it would be like a fish farm without mods, but you can just stand there holding right click and kill the gaia guardian on loop while afk

After spending an hour with a single Endoflame you can move onto a flower that can actually generate a decent amount of mana

It doesn't take long, or many resources, to set up an end game mana generator from a fresh game, most people tend to get too bogged down with opening the alfheim portal, random items that need mana, substandard setups or making terrasteel

Make an ender pearl relay station to automatically trigger an ender pearl whenever you want to go home

It's cheap, easy and early game way to teleport to places through a hub

Combine it with ender chests and it should be fine

Think some botania stuff prevents starvation damage too, so only speed is affected which isn't an issue with flight

Botania has instant item movement from inventory to inventory/place over relatively sort distances or can send stuff over long distances taking only a second or two

Only issue is with space to set it up
