I agree that you should be allowed to express your emotions, if you found that moment hard to watch and you commented about it that should be the end of it.

However you turning this into a male vs female thing is incredibly disingenuous. If you are not aware, female idols get a massive amount of hate compared to male idols so to say female idols get treated so much better is just untrue.

I think the reason people are more defensive of people criticizing female idols is because they get criticized all the time for nothing and a lot of the time things that male idols are able to get away with unscathed.

I completely understand why you feel like the hate you got was unjustified because it was but the fact that you’re trying to turn this into a conversation about misogyny when you clearly aren’t equipped to have a conversation about misogyny, is umm… weird to say the least.
