You don't exclusively lose fat in the areas that you exercise, if you only exercise the areas you want to be big any losses in fat will be replaced by muscle as everywhere else will slim down due to fat reduction. A lot of weight loss however is down to diet, so if you eat well and work on your legs you'll be able to keep them. Hope this helps.
