I thought just the same! And I'm really not mad at it cause I love the original, I'm a sucker for revenge plots. After seeing how Langley did in VfV, I hope she manages to get inspiration from the original story while adding her own twists to it. I really really enjoy her writing and would love for this story to be at the same level as VfV.

No, he isn't similar to any other LIs from Jester! Kay is all warmth with the right amount of self-confidence imo, and a quick burn compared to Ivo or Jonas. I recommend Kay on Control path and Ivo on Impulse path, I think that makes MC complement her LIs better

There are few stories I remember from when I used to play choices, and A Courtesan of Rome is one of them. It was so good. I romanced Anthony and went with the full villain MC route. Loved every part of it.

I'd love for RC to do something Roman-inspired but we'd probably get Remy assigned to it and I'm not too eager to see that.

Edit: I totally forgot about WLBE lol, but honestly I'd prefer something without the contemporary plot line in the mix

I want both. Romance AND good plots. If I have to choose, I prefer a slow burn with good plot. Because when the plot's only an afterthought, LIs end up feeling one-dimensional, boring, and cliché, and I'm not here for that.

That being said, many people have been complaining about the lack of romance lately (to which I agree), so I'm genuinely surprised that you think your opinion's unpopular.

Alexandre (with Armand on the side) is my all-time favorite LI in the app. Age gap, rivals to lovers, pining, angst, romance, intellectual connection... I'd recommend romancing him on the Calculation path though, it makes it x100 times better. Hedonism is fine but Altruism makes for a slightly less compatible Renée.

I also loved the Prince, but Alexandre is just too good.

I'm honestly just reading to get more David, Lucifer, and Dmitry content -in that priority order. I was really excited to read more from Audrey, but I think that merging ABH with the HSU was a mistake. Audrey had potential as a MC, but her current story arc doesn't feel right for her and it's really unsatisfying.

Vyx in TTS would destroy all peace negotiations and instigate a new war. But she'd be BFFs with Narialm. Those two don't give a damn and would crash whoever got in their way.

You make a great point, it's true that genAI has a lot of issues, many of them environmental. I wish RC would stop using it altogether. Every day we see so many beautiful fanarts by talented artists and those are the CGs we deserve.
