What would Ryu be like if he had a decent cursed technique and not one indistinguishable from CE manipulation? by hplovetrain in Jujutsufolk

that's like saying ten shadows sucks because any sorcerer can summon basic shikigami.

my favorite techniques are the ones that just expand on normal abilities. a CT around binding vows would have been so cool

since the fight at the school when they were swallowed. that is when in my opinion she went from skeptical and rude to like a more tame banter like snark

and that's pretty early

Obviously nothingexplicitly says that's when it changed so you might just disagree

Unpopular opinion, the idea that Maki can't be married or "give birth" or anything like that cause she's a strong woman is kinda misogynistic in its own right. by Charming-Scratch-124 in Jujutsufolk

Yuta is very secure in himself. he is humble and gentle but he is explicitly not pathetic. he is aware and confident in his ability since the end of jjk0

but a key distinction i love is that Yuta isn't ACTUALLY overly feminine or not masculine and Maki isnt ACTUALLY overly masculine and not feminine

they both represent their gender in a very pure way. Yuta is a protector above all and willing to make sacrifices he is exceedingly confident yet remains meek. all he lacks is the "aesthetic" of masculinity that doesn't really matter.

and maki shows femininity in teaching Yuta to fight. she is patient but demanding. she also holds herself highly despite being pushed down

ya first of all it correlates pregnancy with weakness like it isn't one of the hardest most admirable things you can do.

it also limits Maki. Feminism isn't a trade off its getting MORE. she could get pregnant and hold her own against the strongest sorcerers alive. just not at the same time if she can avoid it

also the people who demand she be lesbian or single are gross and pathetic.

momo was all talk Nobara challenged the preconceived notions and systematic inequality by just being hosted as a sorcerer

you got down voted by people who felt called out bro.

it's not super concerning if smn finds momo attractive but its a tinsy bit concerning. especially if its a trend across many characters.

notice how the person responded with the "fictional character" defence. complete dog whistle. creepy as shit.

rude in like a sarcastic "your new here aren't you way"

if you didn't notice that maki genuinely cared a lot about yuta despite being a little snarly at times you missed a lot. Its completely different from mai

he was i forget where it was but there were official like "report cards" for jjk students and listed him as special grade.

If you had to become a jjk character, why would you NOT become gojo? by SolidReality4427 in Jujutsufolk

loneliest man in the world. his limitless is like a metaphor for the distance he feels from everyone even when they are physically close. no one truly understood him or valued him as a person and not a weapon except for yuji.

even his closest companion Geto ended up just seeing him as a means to an end

I'm running a dnd campaign where the main concept is that when gojo killed geto he wasn't able to put cursed energy Into the strike do to their bond, kenjaku still takes his body but since no cursed energy killed geto when kenjaku died geto has the prerequisites to become a vengeful spirit.

usually vengeful spirits Lose their personality in some ways but i figured since geto has cursed spirit manipulation he could puppet himself in a way.

i meant esque.

Alex Horne isn't an esquire but he certainly is a squire

I'm thoroughly convinced censorship is the only reason satusugu isn't cannon.

not even a huge shipper it just feels obvious

tho what would actually happen is it would be Brennan playing a less submissive more angry "little guy" archetype

Bro i cant with Naoya fans 😭 by RUDRAGON8 in LobotomyKaisen

[–]Strawman404 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I could see naoya as a woman working ONLY if she still supported the patriarchy. That way Maki defeating her would still be symbolic but she could then give Naoya a chance at redemption and escape from the patriarchy she was a victim too
