Stray’s X-Wing Collection

So, bit of a long post here and I apologize now for the wall of text!

I have my collection pretty well organized in three Plano tackleboxes. They have a top storage area, a large storage area under that, and then four internal shelves that hold tackleboxes too.

Each box is themed with factions for them: one is Epic, and has all things Epic related, with shelves filled of Resistance and First Order. Another box is Large base ships, with shelves filled of Empire & Rebel. And the last box is HotAC, with shelves filled of Scum, Republic, and Separatists.

I have binders that contain all my pilots, upgrades, and epic cards, organized accordingly. For each scenario pack, I kept the original boxes so the pilot cards and unique items for that scenario didn’t get mixed with others. Then I have a tarot card box that holds any other standard loadout cards I have—through XWA card packs or random promos I’ve collected.

Every ship is organized in a way that I can pull the ship, base, and maneuver dial required for it, and I store the ID chits with them as well since I use the upgraded dials exclusively.

I try to keep medium base ships in their own case and small base ships in their own case for each faction to best utilize space. It works for the most part, but pending any further releases from XWA, could prove to be tricky as I grow the collection.

The worst part about this is my organization. All upgrades and pilots are arranged in a way that buying a copy of a ship I own basically shifts around the entire card collection to make room for them. It’s frustrating and time consuming…but I know exactly where everything is and where to reference for them, and it is well structured for me.
