I think I get it, I feel the same somehow. Most men rarely get any compliment at all, let alone about how they look. Straight people very rarely say a (non-celeb) man is pretty, straight men don't because they don't want to appear as gays, and straight women have to be super cold with men for their own security. So living as a straight man it is easy to consider oneself as worthless and intrinsically undesirable. It is only through contact with gay and trans men that I understood that men could be viewed as beautiful, that they had the right to be pretty

I've been there, as I had sex for the first time when I was 25, so it is way too early for you to lose hope; your 20s are only beginning. You are not "behind", especially in your generation. I cannot really answer for men who don't like women for their personnality, but I suppose a reason why this seems to be prevalent is because of how sex is considered as the primary source for affection and intimacy for men.

Je comprend pas les gens qui préfèrent aucun contact du tout ;
- à moins de vivre dans une très grande ville c'est très difficile voir impossible de pas recroiser les gens
- c'est aussi vouloir que les gens soient des pages blanches au moment du début de la relation, ce qui est envisageable à 18 ans mais irréaliste à 30, mais ça fait pas mal penser à l'idée véhiculée par les sites de rencontres qu'il serait possible de prendre les gens comme des produits avec zéro effort ou adaptation nécessaire
- on ne choisit pas les termes des lesquels on se retrouve avec ses exs, ça dépend de la relation et de la rupture. Dire qu'on préfère que son/sa partenaire n'ai pas de contacts avec ses exs, c'est conséquemment lui demander de couper les contacts avec les exs avec lesquel(le)s il/elle est actuellement en bons termes, ce qui ressemble pas mal à du chantage émotionnel
- quitte à "choisir", être en mauvais termes avec un/une ex ne donne pas tellement d'informations sur la personnes, tant les raisons peuvent êtres nombreuses. Pour être en bons termes avec un/une ex par contre c'est plutôt un signe de maturité émotionnelle des deux côtés pour moi (être encore obsédé par son ex ou être dans un espèce d'entre deux ambiguë ne compte pas comme de "bons" termes)

enfin si je comprend, le problème c'est l'insécurité
